The AIDS Service Center NYC (ASCNYC), a non-profit community based organization that helps New Yorkers living with AIDS and other chronic illnesses, would like to invite GaySocialites.com readers to their annual fundraiser called HEAT – Reignite the Fight Against AIDS. This year HEAT is being held at XL nightclub in New York on June 6th.

On a weekend that when all eyes should have been on the Saint at Large Black Party, another gay nightlife duel was taking place in New York City as John Blair’s new Viva party premiered challenging his former partner Brandon Voss at XLS.
And let’s face it, there’s no love lost between Blair and Voss. Who can think of a better way to settle things than a big gay dance off?
On Thursday, we told you that Next Magazine was reporting some changes coming to New York City’s XL Nightclub involving a new entity to the space replacing the front lounge area.
We had the chance to interview XL’s new Managing Partner Brandon Voss who filled in some of the holes in that report.
Some major changes are coming to New York City’s only remaining gay mega club, but the big question is whether or not this is an expansion effort or a sign of shrinkage for XL Nightclub.
GaySocialites.com has learned exclusively that John Blair has stepped down as the President and Managing Partner at XL Nightclub in New York.
One insider at XL says that “John will focus on his Saturday night party.” The same weekly event he revived less than a year ago when he first opened the nightclub inside New York’s first gay-themed hotel.
