Editor-in-Chief's Roundtable: Remembering Whitney Houston
Hey y’all, I’m excited to announce our newest piece here at GaySocialites.com. Each Monday, I will lead the “Editor-in-Chief’s Roundtable” where six contributors will answer six questions about one hot topic that should take up no more than six minutes of your very invaluable time!
In addition to my thoughts on the weekly topic, I’ll be joined by GaySocialites.com‘s Resident Diva Demanda Dahling and our CEO/ Editorial Director Charles Winters. Each week will also feature three guests. I’ll be inviting diverse guests who can bring a fresh opinion to the roundtable. I’ll do my best recruit an impressive line-up of interesting characters that might include GaySocialites.com staff members, local celebrities, politicians, industry experts, homeless drag queens, cab drivers.. the options are endless, really!
I can’t guarantee that you’ll always agree with all of the opinions presented by my Editor-in-Chief’s Roundtable, but you’ll surely be entertained, enlightened and sometimes even educated.

Although an official cause of death for Whitney Houston will not be announced until after toxicology reports are returned in a few weeks, it looks like Houston might have died after combining her anxiety medications with alcohol.
Adele: The New Grammy Golden Girl!
The 54th Annual Grammy Awards belonged to Adele. The 23-year-old singer, fresh off a hiatus due to vocal surgery, won six gramophones: Album of the Year and Best Pop Album for 21; Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Short Form Music Video for “Rolling in the Deep,”; and Best Pop Solo Performance for “Someone Like You.” She ties Beyonce’s 2009 record for the most Grammys won by a solo female artist in one night.

Those closest to Whitney Houston including her daughter, cousin and rumored love interest were evidently turned away from the Beverly Hilton Hotel room where she was found dead on Saturday night.
Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina, seems to be having the hardest time coping with the loss of her mother. Bobbi was even rushed to the hospital after being refused access to the room where Whitney’s lifeless body laid for nearly 9 hours after she was pronounced dead.
