The results from a new survey prove that many gay men are willing to die for the perfect body.
As a matter of fact, nearly half of the gay man in the survey said they would die a year earlier if it mean living the rest of their lives with the perfect body.
Even worse, 10% of gay men would agree to die more than 11 years earlier if they could have the perfect body now.
Straight men, however, aren’t as concerned about looking perfect. Only a third of the straight men surveyed said they would give up a year or more of life for an ideal body shape.
The research was part of a study commissioned by Central YMCA, the Succeed Foundation and the Centre for Appearance Research reviewing how men talk about their bodies.
