President of the World (oops) Secretary of State Hillary Clinton released this video in which she outlines the accomplishments as well as the journey ahead for LGBT equality. The biggest theme of the speech: “I wish you a happy Pride.”

This election season, we’ve heard very little about the Democrats as the Republicans have occupied center stage. However, the winner of the GOP nomination could really have an effect on Barack Obama’s ability to get re-elected in November. With four years to prove himself, the President hasn’t been nearly as impressive as he was on the campaign trail four years ago. And let’s face it… change is the last thing he’ll have the crowds chanting in the coming months.
Obama still, though, does have the chance to offer some change to voters this year. He could do so by replacing Joe Biden with Hillary Clinton as VP. It could also be his only hope of winning.
