Watch the first 10 minutes of RuPaul's All Stars Drag Race premiere here! [video]

This may be the first time a drag queen actually arrived to a party early–LogoTV leaked the first 10 minutes of the highly anticipated RuPaul’s All Stars Drag Race to People Magazine earlier this week. And if the first 10 minutes tell us anything about the upcoming season, it’s that the premiere episode is appropriately titled, “Never Too Early to Throw Shade!” Yes, the category is librarian realness as each all star arrives, and they immediately take to reading each other like books.

“Raven walked in from a cocktail party it looks like,” Pandora Boxx quips. “Thanks for trying, girl!”

“Someone’s gotta go home first,” Manila Luzon says upon Mimi Imfurst’s entrance.

And after learning the first twist of the competition, a box is wheeled out, to which Latrice Royale can’t hold back: “If Shangela’s in that box, I’m jumping on top of the box, and we ain’t gonna have to worry about it no more.”

Watch the sneak peek below:

RuPaul’s All Stars Drag Race airs October 22nd at 9pm on Logo.

Mimi Imfurst parodies Ann Romney begging "Leave Mitt Alone"! [video]

Xelle front-woman and Drag Race All Star Mimi Imfurst is taking on politics.  Mitt Romney’s wife, Ann, in particular.

In this video Ann begs us to “Leave Mitt Alone” as she details how hard their lives are as multimillionaires who just want to make more money.  You might even have flashbacks of Chris Crocker’s “Leave Britney Alone” video throughout.  Consequently, Chris and Mimi just happens to have the same colored hair in their respective videos.  Only now Chris Crocker does porn, and Mimi does… well anyone who can get her more exposure!  The bitch is everywhere!!

Showing how hard it is to be that rich and that Mormon, Mimi offers an impeccable rendition of Ann Romney in this political parody.  Watch it here:

If you can’t get enough of Mimi Imfurst, don’t worry!  She’ll be back on LOGO in October for RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, and you can get tickets now to her upcoming show Mimi Imfurst: I Would Hate ME, Too! which takes place this November in New York City. If you can’t get enough of Ann Romney, you need help!  Let’s just hope the only Ann we get is another spoof from Mimi, shall we?

GLAAD announces Amplifier Award nominees

GLAAD announced the nominees for their Amplifier Awards, which honors the best in LGBT-inclusive advertising, in a press release Tuesday. The awards include categories for advertising made specifically for LGBT communities and mainstream markets.

The nominees this year include the J. C. Penney Father’s Day ad; American Apparel’s Pride campaign with transgender model Isis King, Absolut Vodka’s “Outrageous Through the Ages” ads featuring contestants from RuPaul’s Drag Race; Oreo’s controversial Pride Facebook campaign; and Amtrak’s “Ride with Pride”. A complete list of nominees can be found on GLAAD’s blog.

Hernon Graddick, GLAAD’s President, praised this year’s nominees in a press release:

“The advertising and marketing industries are catching up with the rest of the media by including more images of LGBT people in mainstream ads that target broad audiences. Americans expect to see their worlds reflected in advertising, and today that includes LGBT people and families. This year’s nominated campaigns are not only smart business decisions, but set the bar high for future images of our community in advertising and marketing.”

The ceremony will take place on October 2nd at XL Nightclub in New York City. Tickets to the event may be purchased by clicking the logo below:
