The time has come. That sexy, steamy season is back and the meat is running in the streets! Everyone has shed those fashionable, yet oppressive outer layers. Just yesterday I saw two ladies with the most sheer dresses I’ve ever seen off the runway! Not to mention the dresses were NUDE. It’s a good thing there was a breeze ….. (I just had an idea for a future FF…. stay tuned. Think, sheer, sweaty, sticky)
Welcome back to FASHION FOCUS kids! This has been a long week and I have been thinking about this designer and what I wanted to say all week. AND I’M STILL UNSURE! I’ll say this, each piece tells a story and draws you in…. Remember, one doesn’t always have to like what they see, or even understand it, especially when it comes to fashion. However, when your work is unforgettable, it speaks for itself. Let’s dive in!
THIS….. is Gianni Molaro….. Isn’t this garment (because I have no idea what it actually is– I think it’s a dress) INCREDIBLE?! I’d love to have and wear this but I’d have to have outstretched arms at all times to display it’s full glory.
So aside of the thought of having hot sex up against the wall (because I know that’s where you all went with that title), my fascination with walls in general is something I just recognized recently. Whether the walls are painted with murals, blank and plain, covered in graffiti, or whether they’re walls of nature, a good wall will always pull me right in front of it.
Recently on vacation in Los Angeles, I started to see wall after wall and think, I need pictures in front of some of these walls. Immediately the thought “this needs to be a project!” rang in my head! So I took a few shots in LA and upon returning to NYC realized that I could search my stock and find more, and I DID! Let’s start with the most recent and travel backwards….
