The alleged happenings last month in Ed Johnson’s all-boys seventh grade English classroom at Bell Middle School in Paradise Hills, CA has led to the suspension of nine students. It all had to do with cell phones and pornography, where the boys had to pass a “gay test.” Johnson has been under fire, according to the U-T San Diego News, because he did not respond to students right away who told him about the behavior while it was happening. The Associated Press reports accounts read that when students raised their hands to try to stop what was going on, Johnson kept on reading a book.
