Koch has been in and out of the hospital recently but remained in good spirits up until the last minute.

Bill De Blasio enters NYC Mayor's Race

Bill De Blasio, the current New York City Public Advocate, announced this weekend that he is running for Mayor.

De Blasio, a Democrat, says he made the announcement in his home-borough of Brooklyn to send out the statement that he wants “to be a mayor for the neighborhoods.” He criticized current Mayor, Michael Bloomberg, for “ignoring the outer boroughs.”

President Obama, Secretary Clinton's first joint interview

The President of the United States of America and the President of the World sat down together in their first joint interview that aired Sunday on “60 Minutes.” In the video below you will see that President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have come a long way since their 2008 battle for the White House and accomplished much more than many ever expected.

Short of affirming this CBS interview as an endorsement for Hillary Clinton’s bid for the White House in 2016, an office she has yet to say she will seek, the President used this as a chance to thank someone who he called “one of the finest” Secretaries of State in history.
