Big Ang, One Big Gay Magnet

Angela Raiola, better known as Big Ang to pop culture enthusiasts, is really a breakout star. Since being introduced to audiences earlier this year with the premiere of the second season of VH1’s Mob Wives, she’s already developed an unparalleled following. With an upcoming acting debut in Men in Black 3, as well as her own spin-off show premiering on July 8th, Big Ang is on everyone’s mind. GaySocialites.com had the opportunity to ask this diva a few questions about men, her past and our personal favorite, the Drunken Monkey.

What’s New York City without Queens? The outer borough celebrated their queens this past Sunday with “A Generation of Pride in Queens”. The family of Julio Rivera, a gay man fatally attacked in the 1990s, served as the Grand Marshal of the Parade, which also included a performance by the cast of the Broadway show Wicked.
The festival, which immediately followed, featured performances by drag superstar Appolonia Cruz, recording artist and GaySocialites.com friend Anthony Lovari, “Under the Pink Carpet” host Lady Clover Honey, and everyone’s favorite weather girl, Martha Wash.
