Daily Dapper: A Not So "Big Excellent 20th Reunion" (A Review)

Calling Big Excellent 20th Reunion a feel good story to teach LGBT youth that “it’s ok to be different and to accept everyone” is right on point. Well, truthfully, that’s all that I got out of it after I had to piece together the story myself. The dramedy jumps right into the 20th Reunion of six High School “friends” who, while seemingly were all cool with each other back then, are just judgmental bitches to each other now even if… surprise… they’re all gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered. (Think I’m kidding? Wait til one of the characters leaves the stage to chase after whomever the hell. Talk about waiting until someone is out of the room to talk smack.)

Daily Dapper: Lords Invades NY for Pride Week

If it’s at all possible, NYC Pride may just have just gotten that much gayer. Happier, of course, thanks in part to the combined hotelier minds of Brian Gorman and Paul Stallings who are bringing New York its first Pride Pop-Up hotel from June 18th to 24th as Lords New York at Hotel on Rivington.

Daily Dapper: Welcome to My New Home!

As of July 1st I shall be a resident of New York City. (No, I won’t be homeless living under that bridge in the photo but you get where I’m going.) I’ve finally mustered up the balls to drop it all on Long Island and bite the bullet. It needed to happen. There was no way I could get anything done from there without going broke between the Long Island Rail Road, taxis, and the subway.

Ok, it’s settled. I have a new obsession and I don’t even know what his name is. I’ve spotted this bitchingly dressed gentleman quite a few times out and about in Manhattan and Queens. My last spotting was two Sundays ago for Queens Pride day. Gawd damn, this unique individual was working that fucking Parade. Any info anyone can provide me will be greatly appreciated.
