Truth be told, I don’t get Tumblr. I usually see it as a tool for expressive people to collect and share multiple forms of multimedia such as pictures, videos, GIFs, quotes and so forth (which doesn’t really keep me engaged) but one Tumblr account specifically caught my eye after I was given a link recently. Stumbling home off the L in Bushwick two weekends ago, I was surprisingly sober (for the most part) until I got to my apartment. I live on the third floor of a converted factory and all is quiet for the most part. For a party that boasts itself to be a wild drug crazed sex romp, there was much in the way of drugs but little delivery on said “sex.” Last night I decided to go against my better judgment and give Westgay at Westway another shot figuring it may have improved over time.
