Each year the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) hands out Media Awards to honor those who make an impact on the LGBT community.
The gay rights group announced 153 nominees in 33 categories for the 24th Annual GLAAD Media Awards.
Some of those GLAAD Media Award nominees include Frank Ocean, Adam Lambert, Honey Boo Boo Child, “The New Normal”, Towleroad.com and CNN.
The winners of the 2013 GLAAD Media Awards will be announced at a variety of ceremonies held this spring.

Ever since Season 3, my family has watched American Idol obsessively. We still watch it, although we’re getting kinda sick of it, especially since Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul left their judge positions and the contestants who have won recently aren’t our taste.
