Watch the first 10 minutes of RuPaul's All Stars Drag Race premiere here! [video]

This may be the first time a drag queen actually arrived to a party early–LogoTV leaked the first 10 minutes of the highly anticipated RuPaul’s All Stars Drag Race to People Magazine earlier this week. And if the first 10 minutes tell us anything about the upcoming season, it’s that the premiere episode is appropriately titled, “Never Too Early to Throw Shade!” Yes, the category is librarian realness as each all star arrives, and they immediately take to reading each other like books.

“Raven walked in from a cocktail party it looks like,” Pandora Boxx quips. “Thanks for trying, girl!”

“Someone’s gotta go home first,” Manila Luzon says upon Mimi Imfurst’s entrance.

And after learning the first twist of the competition, a box is wheeled out, to which Latrice Royale can’t hold back: “If Shangela’s in that box, I’m jumping on top of the box, and we ain’t gonna have to worry about it no more.”

Watch the sneak peek below:

RuPaul’s All Stars Drag Race airs October 22nd at 9pm on Logo.

Details surrounding Sahara Davenport's death revealed

Details surrounding the sudden death of former RuPaul’s Drag Race contestant Sahara Davenport, born Antoine Ashley, have finally been revealed.  A representative for Davenport released a statement yesterday confirming the drag star “passed away due to heart failure on October 1, 2012, at John Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland.”

Speaking on behalf of the family, Ashley’s mother, Angela Ashley Reddish, said: “I thank God for giving me an Angel Antoine Ashley to share with the rest of the world. My family and I would like to thank everyone for their condolences and support. We know that our Angel is now dancing in heaven. May God bless each and everyone.”

Ashley’s boyfriend of six years, Karl Westerberg, who performs as Manila Luzon, also released a statement: “Antoine lived to entertain the world as Sahara Davenport, and the world was in awe over his extreme talent. But his heart is what made us all fall in love with him. To me he will always be my best friend, my hero, my Diva, and I have always considered myself more than lucky to have him be forever a part of my life. Thank you, hon, for bringing so much beauty to all of us. Your legacy lives on in me and all of us you’ve touched.”

RuPaul, Logo and Drag Race judge Michelle Visage also released statements expressing their condolences for the deceased performer via Twitter. RuPaul’s official statement was simple: “Shocked & heartbroken over @SaharaDavenport. Never occurred to me that we’d ever lose one of my girls. I see them as immortal.”

News anchor's powerful on-air response to bullying [video]

Jennifer Livingston, a news anchor on Lacrosse, Wisconsin’s CBS WKBT, took a moment out of the news today to address a recent email she received from a viewer. The email criticized Livingston for her weight and accused her of being a bad example for young people who may be overweight.

Livingston replies, and delivers a beautiful speech about the effects of bullying. “To all of the children out there who feel lost, who are struggling with your weight, with the color of your skin, your sexual preference, your disability, even the acne on your face, listen to me right now: do not let your self-worth be defined by bullies,” she concludes. “The cruel words of one are nothing compared to the shouts of many.”

And many will be shouting for her after this:

Honey Boo Boo Child's "Everybody's a Little Gay" [video]

Alana Thompson, better known to television audiences as Honey Boo Boo Child, has a message for us all: “Ain’t nothin’ wrong with being gay, everybody’s a little gay.” Her declaration came on the season finale of TLC’s Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, but Jimmy Kimmel is turning it into a viral hit after auto-tuning it.

It really is a clever little ditty, and GaySocialites.com is going to make a declaration of our own that this will be the Gay Pride Anthem of 2013. You just wait…
