It’s that time of year again….cold and flu season. If you wake up with a sore throat and feel a cold coming on, here are some tips that should help you battle through:

Add one cup hot water, 2 tablespoons honey, 2 tablespoons lemon juice and a dash of cinnamon, mix well and drink.

You should start feeling better within an hour.

I felt a cold coming on New Year’s Eve, so not a good time to get a cold, there is nothing fun or sexy about a runny nose, so I tried this. It helped me feel better fast. I don’t think it completely stopped the cold but it got me through New Year’s Eve night feeling fine.

I drank this mixture for three days and it did make me feel better, so the next time you wake up with a sore throat try it! You might be surprised.
