Gay opera singer Jonathan Allen wows the judges on ‘America’s Got Talent’ [video]

America's Got Talent Welcomes Jonathan Aleen with open arms

“America’s Got Talent” is back on NBC, and on Tuesday night’s episode we were introduced to a 20-year-old opera singer from Tennessee named Jonathan Allen.  In case you missed it; judges Howard Stern, Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howie Madel all voted to advance to Jonathan to the next round in Las Vegas, however it’s his story that made Madel welcome Allen to a new family.

Watch his performance and hear his brave story here:

Allen, who says his parents threw him out on his 18th birthday because he was gay, definitely seems to have a promising career as a singer.  We, here at, will surely be cheering him on.

“America’s Got Talent” airs on Tuesdays at 9pm EST on NBC, however next Tuesday’s show will air at special time of 8pm EST.

Saw this when it aired & he brought tears to my eyes before he even sang. What an inspiration! His parents need to wake up & realize what an amazing son they have! I am not gay, nor is my daughter but if she ever came to me & said she was, I would hug her & commend her for the courage it took to come out. Children deserve UNCONDITIONAL love, no matter how old they are.
