Former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura is the latest political activist to come out in favor of marriage equality.
Ventura and his wife,Terry, are teaming up with Minnesota United for All Families to fight a constituional ban on
gay marriage.
The former wrestler-turned-governor are helping spread this message: “The Constitution should not be used to oppress people. The Constitution should be used to protect people. Love is by far bigger than government can ever be.”
The proposed ammemdment to the Minnesota constitution will appear on the November 6th ballot when residents also head to the polls to decide who will serve the next term as president.
