While on the run ever since Blackout Bar in Brooklyn closed up shop after numerous “violations,” Gio Black Peter’s Super Bisexuals of the sick, twisted and downright sexy has put up shop in Sugarland Wednesday nights as shows no signs of slowing down. For starters, anyone who attended Peter’s party at Blackout knows just how off the wall it can get and some things never change.
Deliberating on whether or not to go, I sucked it up and strutted to 221 N. 9th in Williamsburg last Wednesday evening to give a once over to the event I missed and remembered fondly. Sporting a name like Super Bisexuals and having outrageous, and often gut wrenching as well as blasphemous, promotional posters this soiree of sadism proves that NYC nightlife is not dead after all and can still deliver the goods when a breath of fresh air is needed.
Sugarland was decorated with long lengths of plastic streamers of white and green with boys and girls of all types (gay, straight, whatever) mixed about on the dance floor as Peter grabbed his cock, whipping it out for all to see while greeting new and old faces. The delectable Reve Douglas prodded people with her large Caucasian strap-on peter of her own all the while delivering a smile to all who drunkenly stroked her wo-manhood.
On the main stage, attendees were treated to Gio Black Peter’s usual but originally perverse videos ranging from multi-colored acid trip kaleidoscope imagery to blood and guts done tastefully well. To wrap it all up, the extremely fashionable Jeffrey Gaunt played guest host and joined the many different personalities running around the venue like a bunch of crazed lunatics. This is what I mean when I say give me fun, excitement, and most importantly something new, New York City!
