Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says she hasn’t seen the Mitt Romney ads that featuring her infamous “Shame on you, Barack Obama” sound bite from the 2008 Democratic primary but says they seem like a “waste of money” to her. (You can watch the video of the ad in reference below.)
“I am out of politics, and I haven’t seen any of the ads that you’re talking about,” Clinton said. “But I have to say it’s a waste of money.”
In the ad, the Romney campaign took a soundbite in which then-Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton slams then-opponent Barack Obama for “blatantly false” attacks against her in campaign mailers.

“Everybody knows I ran against President Obama in 2008, that’s hardly news. Everybody knows we ran a hard fought campaign and he won. And I have been honored to serve as his secretary of state.”
It’s no secret that I’m a HUGE Clinton supporter. For Romney to insinuate any affiliation with the her should be considered brilliant, but it was a major win on Obama’s part to appoint her as Secretary of State. Clinton will likely go down in history as the best top diplomat our country has ever seen. However, everyone knows that she is grateful to President Obama for the opportunity to serve in that roll. So, Romney’s campaign failed in this attempt.
Perhaps the most disappointing part of this whole situation was hearing Hillary declare that she is “out of politics.” I hope it doesn’t turn out to be the truth, but I’ll only believe it when I see it.
