Stephen Hanks vocally shared his disgust for Sarah Palin by shouting to her daughter Bristol that “her mother is a whore and he hoped the former governor of Alaska would go to hell.” This all occurred at the Saddle Ranch in West Hollywood while the younger Palin was riding a mechanical bull and has been all over the world-wide web. Hanks is now a viral star, according to the Hollywood Reporter, but does not want to be a reality television star for he has filed a lawsuit against the former Dancing With The Stars contestant.
Hanks happened to view the spat in a promo for Palin’s Lifetime reality series Life’s A Tripp and claims he never asked to sign a release by the camera crew. After he dissed Sarah Palin, Bristol became very defensive and shouted out a slew of homophobic remarks, The Holly Reporter states. He is suing for unspecified damages, alleging defamation, invasion of right to privacy, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and misappropriation of right of publicity. Hanks was apologetic at the time of the incident, issuing an apology through his lawyer which stated he wished “Bristol success with her television show, and much happiness in the future. ”
Hanks’ lawyer, Michael Gulden, said that his client was unaware of the fact he was being filmed at the bar until Palin left with her camera crew. Management told Hanks that the crew had “permission for limited filming of Palin and her pals.”
Even though Hanks has apologized for his actions, Bristol Palin has yet to say she is sorry for the homophobic slurs and actions she confronted Stephen Hanks with. Gaysocialites.com will bring you the latest on this story as it develops. Meanwhile let us know what you think in the comments section.
