For the past 7 years, DJ Ricardo! has drawn upon experience DJing at clubs throughout the US to meticulously pick Ultra Music’s best anthems currently turning out dancefloors as well as selecting ones yet unheard. ‘Out Anthems 7″ is this year’s edition is a return to the “fun beach house anthem” theme that originally branded the series.
Since dance music is being increasingly infused with pop, the gay community has returned to more song oriented style house tracks. And there is a little bit of everything in this mix. Featuring Benny Benassi, Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Kaskade and others, with tracks spanning the spectrum from progressive house to electro, the album is both energetic and dramatic.
