Betty White on gay marriage

Former “Golden Girl” Betty White recently spoke with the Huffington Post and talked about her stance on gay marriage.

White said she recently got a letter from a woman who asked about her position on allowing same sex couples to tie the knot.  Here’s what Betty had to say:

“I get a lot of mail — but I don’t get many bad letters — but I got a woman the other day that was so upset with me because they said, ‘How do you feel about the gay marriage thing?’ and my answer to that is, ‘I really don’t care with whom you sleep, I just care what kind of a decent human being you are.’ I figure all the rest of it is your business and not mine. And not hers, incidentally.”

In the same interview, Betty also said that she wasn’t aware of the fact that she is a gay icon.  Part of the reason we love her so much is because she gives answers like this!
