Party promoter Lee Chappell’s Café Panache has finally found a new home. Originally starting at Griffin on Tuesday evenings, Panache is neither a gay nor straight event but welcomes all under one roof at The Darby to celebrate some of the finest talents in burlesque, music, dance; the list goes on continuously.
Returning for round two are the voluptuous dancer Amber Ray and drag legend Shequida who never seem to disappoint a crowd. With an ever evolving and competitive nightlife scene, Panache packs a punch for both early birds who go to bed before midnight (boo hiss) and night owls like me who can kick off the evening with excitement.
I mean, just look at the invite. It’s a cabaret dancer pouring a bottle of champagne down her chest. You know that’s you by 1am anyway, you messy queen.
Café Panache is currently running Sunday May 6th.
