British Boyband The Wanted Disses Christina Aguilera in Radio Interview!

When British Boyband The Wanted performed on The Voice they were excited to meet pop superstar Christina Aguilera.  But they realized that Xtina was not all that friendly to them.  During a radio interview with New York’s 92.3 Now, member Max George recalls that Aguilera was “a bit scary” and sat during their performance with a sour puss on her face the entire time.  But it was Tom Parker who decided to be less subtle about the whole situation calling her a “bitch,” claiming that “she just sat there and didn’t speak to us.”

George went on to say he enjoyed being on American Idol more because Jennifer Lopez was more accepting to the band and “hot”, claiming that Xtina “is nothing special.”

The “Glad You Came” vocalists also talked about the nasty look Aguilera had when Justin Bieber hugged her after he performed on the show.  Aguilera has denied on Twitter of any wrong doing.  This is not the first time Aguilera has displayed distaste.  Xtina has also not been so kind to Voice contestant Tony Lucca, whom she was a member of The New Mickey Mouse club with.  She said in her critique she hoped it was his voice that was going to get him through and not his celebrity.  When Lucca performed an alternative version of Former Mouseketeer Britney Spears’ Hit Me Baby (One More Time), Aguilera sarcastically said NBC should just get herself, Spears, Lucca, and Justin Timberlake on stage for a reunion.

Do you think The Wanted went too far or was Christina Aguilera having an off night?  Would you like to see more artists share such blunt opinions about others?  Leave your comments below.
