Demanda Endorses: Get Trashed at TRASH!

Trash, the Friday night party held in The Studio at Webster Hall, is arguably the most wild party of the week. Seriously, I say this from personal experience. The first time my partner-in-crime and fellow GaySocialite Kevin Novinski, “Dapper” as we affectionately call him around the office, and I went, we apparently humped on stages, dressed in our Asian finery. The second time we attended together, we decided to lay on the ground and share secrets with each other while people dancing around us. (Side note: not the smartest idea.) The third, we distributed ice to the crowd via a stolen ice bucket. You know, typical Friday nights with your friends.

You see, the drinks flow in The Studio. My boozy brain begins working, and I become entranced by the music. Both DJ Jess and Matty Glitterati play an eclectic mixture of electro, indie, new wave and pop, but it’s the dubstep that really gets me going. Gets both of us going actually. Dapper and Demanda, two peas in a pod–and it’s one fucking fun pod!

Besides us acting like buffoons, there’s also some trashy go go’s to look at–and let’s be honest, I’ll look at Go Go Harder any ole day of the week. Add in resident host Twig the Wonderkid, a special guest DJ set by Static Groove, a birthday celebration for the peacock prince King Vulcanus Levi and a slew of more tricks and treats, and I’m having problems keeping my tuck in. Oh, and as if that wasn’t quite enough, there’s a late night cabaret show by two folks that are going by the names of Nikki LeVillian and Franny Fluffer. I’m not quite sure what that entails, but you know Demanda is game for just about anything. (And if you don’t know, find out!)

So join Dapper and myself this evening. And tell the lovely door whore Brendon James that we sent you. I’ll have a special little surprise for you if ya do.

Until tonight…

liquor and love,

d. dahling
