Whitney Houston Autopsy finds cocaine in singer's system

Whitney Houston's Autopsy Report

The details of Whitney’s Houston autopsy have finally been released, and the LA County Coroner’s office has officially ruled the singer’s death as an accidental drowning.

Found submerged in her bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on February 11, Houston also had traces of cocaine in her system and was also suffering from the effects of heart disease. According to the autopsy report, these were contributing factors in her death.

According to toxicology tests, marijuana, Xanax, Flexeril (a muscle relaxer) and Benadryl were also found in the her body, but did not contribute to Houston’s passing.  Foul play and trauma were also ruled out.

An insider at the LA County Coroner’s Office told US Weekly, ”She was taking a bath and had heart attack where no one was there to come to her aid. It is not uncommon for anyone with arterial heart disease to have a history of using cocaine.”

The final coroner’s report is expected to be made public within the next two weeks.
