First there was RuPaul’s Drag Race. Then came RuPaul’s Drag U. And now, in an exclusive interview with EW.com, Logo announced a third spin-off of the show is currently in development. All Stars: RuPaul’s Drag Race will air six, one-hour episodes this fall and features, as the title implies, former contestants returning for a second shot at becoming the Next Drag Superstar. The network is calling the competition a “battle royale.”
After only 4 seasons of the show and 46 contestants to consider, it is curious as to why an all-star show is beginning so soon. Producers are still determining the cast, which won’t be announced for at least a few months. Fans of the show will have the opportunity to pick one of their favorites to appear on the new show as well , with votes being cast on the show’s Facebook page.
Stay tuned to GaySocialites.com for an announcement of the cast when it is confirmed–or leaked.
